The Full Circle Experience

The Full Circle Retreatment: The Spa Experience – Equestrian Style

Trail RIde along the Atlantic RidgeFull Circle Stables is a small private learning center and retreat that combines lessons, training and education with a fresh twist. We offer individualized programs to optimize goals for horse and rider along with what we call, The Full Circle Retreatment – a spa retreat experience for the equestrian.

You (and your horse) will be treated to Chi and myofacial body work/massage, fitness and nutrition consultation and time to focus on your goals with your equine partner. A complimentary cappuccino maker, wine selections, and use of a swimming pool and shower facilities are available. How about a refreshing dip in the pool after a riding lesson, trail ride or massage? Wine and cheese anyone?

The quaint, comfortable and clean facility is surrounded by lush preserve land and pastures with native Florida habitats. With the St. Lucie River just walking distance away, this peaceful atmosphere presents a relaxed learning environment. Nearly every day brings a welcome interruption when watching native Florida animals in their habitat.

Achieve the Perfect Ride

We focusing on achieving the ‘Perfect Ride’ through harmony of a partnership regardless of saddle type. We offer classes in body work/massage for horse and rider to achieve bio-mechanical harmony.

Clients are welcome to bring their own trainer; however Kim Anaston-Karas, is available to help you with your riding goals from the beginner balanced-seat rider through Grand Prix Dressage.

Philosophy

Our guiding principle is to encourage harmony between horse and rider. Our view of ‘Full Circle’ is that life, riding, careers and relationships come full circle. As an education and ‘retreatment’ center we believe there are many facets to good horse(wo)manship. These include:

  • Biomechanically correct and relaxed riding position which allows you to feel and influence your horse so to be clear, soft and efficient in your aids
  • Compassionate in your training, whether in the saddle or on the ground
  • Understanding the synergy between proper care (you, vet and farrier), ground work (natural horsemanship and manners), and riding
  • How feel and communication will be enhanced through myofascial  massage and Chi energy body work that in turn to allow the horse to travel freely
  • Truly respect the horse’s gentle nature and his willingness to please
  • It doesn’t matter what type of saddle you ride, it just matters that you have a desire to achieve that perfect ride with your equine partner
